The village of Rochfort en Terre is just a 15 minute drive away.

Renowned for it's splendid display of flowers in summer, it's array of interesting shops, galleries and cafes and it's Chateau - Rochfort is a place you will want to visit time and time again.

The lake at Rochfort provides free parking and access to a lakeside beach, wooded picnic areas, cafe and pedaloes. There is a safe swimming area for children overseen by a life-guard in the summer months. A beautiful spot for a lazy afternoon.

The coastal beaches of the Gulf of Morbihan are just a short distance away. The nearest beach of Damgan is a 20 minute drive or you may wish to explore stunning Carnac with it's gently shelving soft sandy beach. 30 kms

Vannes is the nearest city and well worth a visit to its colourful port area with every craft from small fishing boats to sleek yachts. Vannes is a walled city with many interesting buildings. A tourist train will take you on a 30 minute tour through it's narrow medieval streets and elegant squares.

Josslin is an interesting old town - it's Chateau is well worth exploring. There is a fantastic view from the top of the church tower. There is also a doll museum in the town.

La Gacilly is a little village full of character - home of the perfume house, Yves Rocher. You can visit the factory and shop. Enjoy the many arts and crafts shops in the village.
